Just back in town and recovering from Adjudicating ACDFA in Arkansas Middle region. Some great dances and working with fellow adjudicators the fabulous Bill Evans and Christopher Carter was a gift.

My project: The Dance Conduction Continuum (DCC)now co directed by Germaul Barnes, will perform # 5 at the United Nations General Assembly Hall.

Germaul Barnes and myself were awarded the Summer Stages Dance/Baryshnikov Arts Center Residency Project. The Project is for a choreographer(s) and his/her company/project. Three weeks at Summer Stages and three weeks at the BAC are awarded, with an informal showing at the BAC for an invited audience http://www.summerstagesdance.org/
We will be at Summerstages this summer with performances at ICA Bsoton and in residence at the Barishnikov Arts Center in the Spring/Summer 2010 with performances with Burnt Sugar Arkestra

Dancer/choreographers Marianela Boán (Cuba), Tania Isaac (St. Lucia), and Gabri Christa (Curaçao) share more than their Caribbean origins, all three work at the intersection of contemporary movement and new media technologies, while reflecting upon their real and imagined traditions of their native cultures. For the last nine months, these artists have been working collaboratively to create new work, which will be showcased over three consecutive performances.

# 3 in the dance films series. We will aim to shoot in January 2010 on Bonaire. This will finish the first trilogy.

Savoneta: Another Building # 2 will open in the new Museum of Nature and Culture in 201o as a permanent exhibition and will have screenings and installations in several Musea and Galleries. Separate update to follow
Quarantine ( # 2)continues touring.
